Getaway Chalet
 

Perched high in the treetops, the Getaway Chalet is a cozy, romantic getaway for two or a place to share with the family or any group of up to 6.  The upper Moonridge location ensures a quiet stay even on busy holidays, yet it is close to Bear Mountain ski resort and the golf course.  Bear and reindeer decorations greet you in every room.  An oak forested yard invites you to take a solitary walk and you can enjoy a rarity in Big Bear – leaves that change color in the fall!  Youngsters of all ages can enjoy winter sledding right in the backyard and those who prefer quieter activities can enjoy stargazing and bird watching from the east-facing deck which also allows for awesome sunrise views.  The location is unique in that is perfect all year round – close to the slopes in the winter and gorgeous views in the spring, summer and fall.  As you gaze out upon the sweeping view, you can barely see any other cabins.  The kitchen features newer appliances and the living and dining rooms have newer furnishings full of mountain charm.

 

The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a Queen sized bed.  Kids will love the upstairs second bedroom loft with 2 twin beds.  There is also a full sized sofa sleeper in the living room.

 

Of course, it’s fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glassware and everything you need to cook a full meal.  Like all of our cabins, you will enjoy 200+ thread count sheets, extra thick towels, FREE DVD rentals from our office among other amenities.  This cabin sleeps 6.

 

No pets allowed in this cabin but we have others that do welcome pets.

 

An additional cleaning fee will be included in the total.
